We built Clean Now with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought. This policy explains exactly how the app works and what happens with your data.
Clean Now requests access to your photo library solely to scan, categorize, and help you delete unwanted photos and videos. This is the entire purpose of the app.
We access your photos only when you open the app and initiate a scan. We do not access your library in the background.
All photo analysis happens entirely on your device using Apple's built-in Vision framework. Your photos are never uploaded to any server, never transmitted over the internet, and never shared with any third party.
The only data stored between app launches is a small cache file containing photo identifiers (not the photos themselves) saved locally on your device. This cache speeds up subsequent launches and can be cleared at any time by using the Rescan Library option in Settings.
We do not collect:
— Your name, email address, or any account information
— Your photos, videos, or any media
— Your location
— Device identifiers or advertising IDs
— Usage analytics or behavioral data
— Crash reports or diagnostics
We have no backend servers, no databases, and no analytics platform. There is nothing to collect because we built no infrastructure to collect it.
Clean Now offers auto-renewable subscriptions processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We never see or handle your payment information. All billing, receipts, and subscription management are handled by Apple.
To manage or cancel your subscription, go to Settings on your iPhone → your name → Subscriptions.
Clean Now does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data to share.
Clean Now is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
